Webb James’ premises in Livorno are fully equipped for processing and sterilising raw materials from their country of origin. The bespoke, modern equipment has been improved over the years with ever-better technology designed to increase product quality levels and guarantee personalised solutions to the food industry’s needs. The processing plant consists of two cryogenic grinding lines, a varieties of peppers grinding line,
a spice cleaning line, herb cleaning and herb cutting lines, two blending lines, a steam sterilisation system, an ETO sterilisation system and a system for fumigation in vacuo with phosphine.
The entire processing system is UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, BRC and IFS certified.
The company, producer and wholesaler of spices in Tuscany, is also authorized dealer for organic certification and is in possession of USDA-NOP.
